Driven by a commitment to diversified research impacting real-world challenges, the Academy of Public Policy and Economics (APPE) is a private academic entity dedicated to conducting research in the fields of public policy, economics, social governance, national economic profiles, regional development, and contemporary issues.
The primary recipients of the research outcomes are the initiating and funding bodies — several anonymous trust funds. In addition, significant portions of the research, particularly those considered instrumental in advancing the institution’s social responsibilities, are made accessible to a broader audience.
APPE’s staff and researchers operate across multiple locations, with external liaison post established in both London and Hong Kong. The institution embodies its founders’ and sponsors’ philosophy through a distinctive operational strategy. It upholds the belief that a stable, reliable, and undisturbed research environment is essential to achieve exemplary research outcomes.
